French Chess Federation Board Meeting – Levallois 2017

A leading national chess federation

900+ clubs (prior to the pandemic), more than 3.000 tournaments every year, a well structured arbiters’ sector – to focus on the area related to my core activity.

The French Chess Federation (FFE) is among the leading countries based on the average top 10 ranking of players.

The French Youth Championship – a real flagship

French Youth Championship Belfort 2017 – Arbiters’ Team with World Champion Anatoly Karpov

With a strategy oriented on massive participation (the current record is 1785 participants in Hyères 2019), the French Youth Championship is the main event organised by the federation.

14 titles of French Champion (U08 to U20, open and girls) are at stake and the event is usually a great opportunity for socialising among young players and accompanying people.
